Ge Simon Xt

I asked the company I bought it with and they said to just plug the XT Simon in the wall, but my wall phone jacks, and Simon XT has an 8-pin wire that connects to it If I can just plug the Simon XT directly into the wall. My wall has Cat-5 cable running through it and they all come to this switch Levitron the manufacturer has installed phones at work. The other end (wall plate) is a regular telephone jack, although it uses Cat-5.

You'll need an adapter for that. You must contact them and tell them you need an adapter.

I have an xt simon you do not need an adapter rj11 host it as well. The book does not tell you. Just plug a regular phone if you do not want to take online. The larger wire is to install a block on the outside so that Simon can unplug the other phones when it needs to dial. Flag
