removed the inside door panel and hardware to make the inside of the door visible. Access to the cylinder is tight, but how to remove and if special tools are needed.

Disconnect stems from the bottle, then take a pliers and remove the c-clip. If you can not get the clip, try using a screwdriver and a hammer and press the c-clamp, gently. The cylinder should go outside.
