In Melbourne, do u dry your clothes outdoors or indoorsa I wonder how the social and cultural norms are in Melbourne. So, to start to dry your clothes outside .. It sounds silly but I guess its something important to say. Please advice, thank you!
Fortunately, Melbourne is a beautiful and very open:) It is actually the art "of hanging laundry" not common. It is generally more common to hang out in summer, indoors in winter, just because it rains in winter. but I live near the city, and do not have a clothing line, i dry mine on the heater inside, while my neighbor hangs hers on a line of clothing outside.
Then, to answer you .. it does not matter what you want:)
Hello,
I am currently staying in a townhouse in North Melbourne.
Wondering is there a rule / culture in Melbourne who said we're not allowed to dry our outerweara Flag
I dry mine out, there are many people who do too. I became quite windy at times.
Well in the good weather i hang my laundry on the clothesline ..
In winter, I have what I call a laundramat Chinese, I hang all the jumpers and things on hangers and hang on curtain rails (night only cause) ...
Most of the year I'm hanging out. There are about 3-4 months of the year when its difficult to get anything dry out. It is a mixture of low temps, rain showers, and the fact that I'm on a block facing south, and the hours of direct sunlight is very limited in winter.
Most people outside hanging washing. The exceptions are few people living in buildings where there may not be where it is convenient to hang anything. They are the exception and not the rule.
