Quick and Easy Laundry Room Decor Ideas Believe it or not, but there is a laundry room decor. A laundry room should not be a damp dungeon formidable when it has the potential to be brilliant and happy. Any laundry room, regardless of size or dark, can be transformed into a welcoming space. Best of all, you do not need to spend much time or money for improvements. You will find that by adding simple touches make all the difference in your experience of washing.
Like it or not, your going to spend much time in your laundry room, time spent increases as families grow. So why not choose to love instead of loathing every minute. By adding some of the basic laundry tips decor of the room below, you could even wait to wash clothes.
Tip 1 - Paint the walls your favorite color - If you do not have a favorite color, then choose bright colors and energetic as yellow, orange and red. On the other hand, if you want your laundry room a place where you can relax, choose blue or green. Your walls should be color (or colors) that make you feel happy.
Tip 2 - Pictures to give walls character - If painting is too much hassle, or if you have any free wall space, why not add a picture or two as part of the decoration of your room washing. It does not matter if it's a painting by a famous artist, a photo of your child drew, or a movie poster. The laundry room is probably the only area of your home where you can be really liberal in your choice of wall decoration.
Tip 2 - Keep your feet warm - Add a couple of soft rugs or mats on the floor in front of the washer and dryer to keep your feet warm. Rugs also help to absorb any water that may fall. You do not need a special mat unless you have a theme to decorate your laundry room you want to track, simply choose the rugs with the color / design and texture you like.
Tip 3 - Get nature involved - Plants, regardless if they are real or artificial, add life and color to a room and can easily infuse a little vitality room.
Tip No. 4 - Music makes a difference - Include a small radio or CD player in your laundry room so you can listen and sing with your favorite tunes while you work.
Tip 5 - Light up your life - If the lighting is dull in the laundry room, or it is not enough, do yourself a favor and obtain brighter bulbs or additional lighting (IE floor, table or lighting). Poor lighting puts strain on your eyes and you may feel tired.
Tip 6 - Keep it cool - A laundry room can often feel hot and humid. A small fan can help circulate air and comfort in hot weather or if you feel overheated.
Tip 7 - Add convenient laundry room dedcor to your space - Decoration practice includes shelves, hanging clothes rack, hampers and a waste paper basket. It is imperative that some form of organization exists in your laundry room so you can store soap, keep dirty clothes on the floor and have a place where delicate clothing can hang to dry. A wastebasket is also necessary to collect all tissue left in pockets, lint from the dryer or fabric softener sheets. A laundry room is cluttered if a strong deterrent to keep it clean.
Even if you do incorporate some of the tips above laundry room decor, you will notice a difference. Keep in mind, if you are the person in your household who does the most wash, decorate the laundry room for yourself!
