Unfortunately, everyone has to share that feeling shock to discover that your property or business has been robbed and vandalized. No one is immune, it seems.

They hit when you least expect it. It's a shock to your system. You feel violated, and for a moment, you stand there helpless in a million emotions wash over you in rapid fire succession: disbelief, confusion, powerlessness, fear, panic and finally anger.

What you do not know at the time, is that these same emotions to overwhelm you continue for days, maybe weeks - all decrease in intensity over time, except anger. The anger remains.

Then the fantasies of what you would do if you caught the scum that took your property and your sense of well-being and safety. You find yourself promising to go camping for a few nights and protect your property in case they return.

Finally, if, after cleaning, patching, repair and replace all the damage (which in many cases is more than what they have), you start by promising to take steps to ensure that your property no longer the pushover thieves find it.

When you reach this stage, here's what you need to start thinking about:

The Three D's: Deter - Detect - Deny

Deter - The best results with is to deter thieves targeting your business to begin with, and how best to achieve this is to have security cameras around each visible point of entry or vulnerable attractive your business . Where they do not notice, make sure and reinforce your point with signs and stickers on every door and window that remind them they are being monitored by security cameras.

Detect - Alarm and security camera systems, as well as various sensors and detection methods they use both, is the first line of defense to any business. The ability to be informed if an intrusion occurs, identify people and vehicles to collect as much evidence as possible with the technology that those systems provide, will be the most important aspects involved in getting - or in law, or after the fact.

Deny - prevents them from being at all. This is your last line of defense. Installing better locks, bars, doors and anything else you can identify who made their entry as difficult as possible. If you're protecting a barn, shop or warehouse, then do so openly Fort Knox. If you want to protect a company that customers frequent, so be careful to have plenty of in your face "security measures that may be wondering whether they should be afraid too. Make sure that the security measures or the mixture may be hidden or disguised during business hours.

Several times a day by CCTV robust, the phone rings with someone calling to tell us they have just been stolen. They want to set up a security camera system for their business that will give them a sense of security and tension. To regain some of what was snatched from them. And that's what we give them. The comfort of knowing that you're using a lot of eyes not blinking monitors your property, privacy, identification of criminals.

I was robbed, my parents were stolen, most of my friends have been stolen, so I write from the heart when I say that such killings do for victims.

In my case, I was angry for weeks. I can laugh now, years later, but when I wanted revenge. In fact, I had fantasies running through my head to design a security camera that had a gun and a speaker attached to it. My most common scenario is where I'd be at home, taking them in flagrante delicto with my video security camera online, then wait for just the right time.
