Marble FireplaceHow to paint over the marble fireplace in a rentala Have to remove the paint when the lease runs out!a

I have a client with a marble fireplace ugly. There is no problem with the paint, but how can he remove the paint once its lease runs out. I'm sure the owner is very proud of her marble mantel ugly! Was thinking about a self-adhesive film as an "undercoat" and the color of our overa Anyone has any ideasa

I am a painter, whatever the color of paint he used on marble just rub it with sand paper and undercoat with u based oil / c, then paint it to your nice (light u use the white / dark gray color usage c), but why did he paint in the first place I've never heard of that in my life! there is anouther option you can use to remove nitromorse what ever he has done for him and return to marble, though it would take much time to do any problem just mail me .... all the best

I do not think I touch on this issue. It is best to leave him alone. The paint will not stick to it as there are no pores. If you stick to things to paint, glue can be a real pain to remove completely.

Try to buy a piece of 1 / 4 "panel cut panels covering the marble, paint and attach to the plate with adhesive tape. Good luck

Hire a carpenter. A carpetner can build a frame around the fireplace opening offensive. Then your customer can paint to their heart's content.

When it comes time to move on, the frame and remove everyone is happy.

Try waxing first. Only oil base will stick to the wax, but we must prevent paint from sticking to the ball and grout if you are very wrong.

Regular shoe polish works great, also the car wax.

Sorry, I have not thought of that sooner ...

I am ugly marble mantle. My dad made a coat of wood that fits on top. Maybe they have a friend who can make one. I was very inexpensive. Then we painted the white coat.

If interested, I'll send a pic of it.
