I have a "King of Fans" fan and if it puts a lot of air movement, it is very hard. Is there a quiet fan that is still powerfula

It depends on your needs. We use a combination of floor fans and ceiling. Box fans in windows or in a position to circulate the air around the house, especially with our wood stove in a room moving around heat in winter.

With a ceiling fan, you can change the direction of the fan in the spring and autumn to prevent the hot and cold air circulating in your room. This will regulate the temperature, our house is over 100 years and believe me this help.
