What is the best type of bulb for security lights outsidea Its for outside the garage and driveway. What is the best, and (very important) has the longest life bulb:
i) a lamp with two bulbs x 120W PAR38 Reflector
ii) a lamp with a halogen linear 150w
iii) a lamp with a halogen linear 300w
i. BY Pyrex is reflective aluminum. Pyrex is for outdoor use and will not be effected by rain on the hot surface of the bulb.
iii. If it is a fixture closed and not a single light bulb, which will produce more light, with better power efficiency. Personally, I would go for the 300w linear bulb is what I have and transforms the garden at daylight in the middle of the night a little big o kit and not too expensive to replace
