Is it cheaper to have 3 radiators to 3 separate rooms of a house, or to heat an entire housea I just moved into a shared house is a house with 3 bedrooms and each room is heated by its own heater at random. From what I remember they use more electricity, but because you're heating up a smaller area you still save. However, at this point would be against-productive. I think that heating up 3 rooms is probably the time. I'm not sure what they use heaters and mine is a bit old "patton prh6" heater.
You do not mention where you live, so it is difficult to guess how much heat you need.
The execution of three electric heaters may draw up to 4500 watts, or about 38 amps, then take a look at your circuit breaker panel or fuse for how much power is available. An old house with a capacity of 50 amps would not normally a good place to try. Still, no two heaters should be on the same 15 amp circuit, the type most commonly used for containers with a wall of the room in the house.
If you have a gas furnace in the house, I'm sure he will do a better job. You can set the thermostat for him to say 65 degrees, then use a heater to heat the room where you spend time in the best use for heating.
Buy the model of Holmes: Holmes AcuTemp It is thermostatically controlled and is very effective.
Ideal unit for a room 12X12
Good Luck
