Pocket Camera

Pocket CameraBest pocket camera in terms of shutter speeda

I am in the market for a pocket camera great but I want something with the shutter speed. quality of the overall objective and the zoom range is also important. Anyone with suggestionsa

I have a Canon SD870IS and it is the best camera I ever owned. In the past I had a Sony DSC-P52, a Fuji A345 and Sony DSC-W7, and only the W7 is close in terms of image quality.

This is an 8-megapixel camera with a stabilized 3 "LCD, ultra-thin and the image so I never get blurred images if that's why you want a fast shutter speed . You can set it in manual mode always use ISO 80 (to reduce noise, aka the grain you see in the photos). The higher the ISO, shutter speed faster, thus equal to less than blur on other devices, but with image stabilization on the SD870IS, you do not need to worry about blur, unless your shutter speed is ridiculously long (you can get speeds of Shutter personalized menu for cool effects).

It also has a wide-angle lens so you can fit more people in your photos with regular point and shoots. The zoom is 3.8X which is 3.0X better than normal for most compact cameras have. Almost all the pictures come out with beautiful colors and great attention (because of it's face detection). outside the camera is also very pleasant to watch, and the rear is a very stylish in black, while the front is silver and you have an option to the area around the lens is money or black (I have no money).

I know that here in Canada, he just dropped in price from $ 399 to $ 350, but I found deals as low as $ 299 to date, and if you're American, it will be even lower. However, in April, there will be a new version available, SD790IS ... it'll be about the same price. With the news, they got rid of the wide-angle lens and the zoom is limited to 3X, and the design of the back is reminiscent of a Motorola RAZR phone (I did not really like that ), but the front looks very "classic" and square that I love, and she gives the camera a slimming effect. It is also 10 MP, but hardly anyone need 10 MP, unless they are carrying out giant poster size images. Personally, I prefer my camera because of the back and the wide-angle lens, but if you like the look RAZR, I'm sure the news is equally strong.

DO NOT get a Sony Cybershot, new models are really terrible in terms of noise (grain) in photos, and new menus are very difficult to use and very time consuming. In the past, Sony has been my favorite brand camera, but no more. (My sister bought a Sony Cybershot DSC-W70 and I hate that.)

My camera Fujifilm has also been terrible, poor build quality images and poor. I do not know if they have improved, but I'm not going back.

My mother and my best friend had two Olympus FE-100 cameras, and both hated (I even bought my mom a Canon SD750, which I recommend if you can not pay the SD870IS because she hated the Olympus so much, and he had so many problems ... it was hard to get it to stay more than a few minutes before it says "low battery" with Rechargeable NiMh fully charged). STAY AWAY from Olympus.

Good luck with your camera, and if you get a Canon, you will not regret it! :) And PS Do not settle for less if you're worried about money. You hate you if you settle for less because your camera is already obsolete, and it will probably really suck (for lack of a better word) ... that's what happened with my Fuji A345: (.

It depends what you mean by a "fast shutter speed.

Do you mean the difference between you pressing the shutter and the photo actually takena This is the time it takes the camera to focus and work to correct exposure. It can be as much as half a second and in some cases, mea.
