Propane Detector

We have a propane stove and I would like something that could detect leaks.

Good LPG is fragrant with the smell of rotten eggs.

A simple way to check for leaks is to take some water with a high concentration of detergent, shake it good and foamy, and brush it over the gas line. Gas leak causes more bubbles.

There are gas detectors sold in shops in the industrial safety ..... hand units are quite expensive. Auckland-Granger sells them I do not know ... approximately $ 300.00-$ 600.00 in price range. I would give them a call and ask.
