Setting Up An Ironing Business

I was making money at home doing our ironing (shirts big, skirts, everything!) For an ear or two and I think I'm good enough to start doing for others people in my area ..

but I'm afraid people will not hire me because they think I am too young and nt good enough.

Any ideas on how to advertise thisa

The experience of my age has little or nothing to do with it. If you can not iron and do a good job, then most people will be happy to give it a try.

I want to focus on social proof and a few other things.

Social proof is based on demonstrating that you can do a great job where other people supporting you.

You can do this by doing some ironing free or offering to do a little ironing free in exchange for testimony. Try friends and neighbors.

Once you have a few mentions of people, then you can try a leaflet drop, but it's a little shot in the dark.

A better alternative is to create a single joint venture with another company that has a related service and already has many customers. EG someone who does sewing, makes clothes or the like. Ask their hands on your flyer or brochure and offer to do the same in return or offer to pay any commission.

Once you start getting customers, you can then set up a referral system where you ask people who are now your clients talk to their friends.

There are dozens of ways to market and I hope you find these useful.

Printing of flyers and put them in mailboxes.
Offer not to order for the neighbors first, and get them to recommend you.
Add in the daily also.

Moms work at your school.
Fliers placed by companies so working mothers can see them.
Offer a refund or redo everything on their unsatisfactory.
Be promoted to first time customers, as half the price to show your work.

1. Make some videos show you how to do the right thing and ironing to download youtube videos.

2. Make a brochure and put your service information and the link to your YouTube channel on it.

3. Put the brochure on the mailbox every house in your neighborhood.

4. Go to the bank and cash your check.
