Talking Thermostat

Posted on November 13, 2010.
Talking ThermostatWhat is "1 or 2 floors" refer when we speak of a thermostata

I'm installing a programmable thermostat. The only one I want, "said Works W / most 1 or 2 stage systems." What does this mean and how do I know which type of system I havea

Thank you!

A thermostat is a step that controls a single unit. So if you have window air conditioners and a furnace for heating is a system to a floor.

Both systems control phase two units. Some people have a furnace for the first floor and one for the second floor. It would be a unit of 2 floors.

If you have two units of heat, and air power, would be a system with 3 floors.

My house has an air furnace and central, and we have a system in two stages. We just put in a programmable thermostat that was for 2-4 stage systems. As we only have 2 steps, we had less to connect son and we kept jumping in a thread

Heat pumps have two stages in this case, you need a heat pump thermostat. Some of the latest ovens have two stages of heat.
There are units of a / c now only two steps. Some electric ovens have two or more stages of heat.
You can write that the son of color are connected to the designation of terminal you're now on your thermostat. That would tell someone that you knew.
