Vehicle Fire Extinguisher

Posted on October 14, 2010.
Vehicle Fire ExtinguisherDoes anyone know how to get dry powder fire extinguisher off a resident inside a vehiclea

My friend let go of a fire extinguisher in a van when he was drunk and needs to know how to clean it!

If it is a simple ABC "dry chemical" extinguisher, you can simply vacuum. But be careful, some extinguishers can corrode electrical components if residue is not completely removed and the vehicle can develop problems on the road.

If it is a class D "powder dry" fire extinguisher, you need to have a professional do the cleaning as some "dry powder" residue can be corrosive and should be cleaned immediately.

Or if it is not cleaned properly will eventually cause problems with the vehicle on the road. It is best to sell the van after a per item up.

it leads to a professional for an Detailing

=)
